The ImagePro image viewer for BeOS is supplied as-is with no express or implied warranty or liability for any damages that may result from its use or abuse.

ImagePro is shareware. You are allowed to use the unregistered version as much as you want for as long as you want. You are allowed to distribute the unregistered distribution BUT ONLY AS THE ORIGINAL DISTRIBUTION FILE. Please check official distribution sources, such as BeWare or BeBits, for the latest official distribution of ImagePro.

ImagePro is currently in beta. You can already register it to enable the killer feature, which is the SMOOTH scaling in real-time of displayed images as the window is resized. Naturally, if you register the beta version you will also receive a copy of the final version for free.

You register by clicking the Register button in ImagePro's About box. Registration is performed with the Kagi service, which is a safe, reputable registration service.

Changes for beta 2:
1.	Removed the options from the popup menu for what to do when the mouse is clicked-and-dragged. Instead:
	- clicking and dragging will zoom the image into the current window;
	- holding down shift while you click and drag will open a new window when you zoom the image;
	- holding down control will scroll the image if it is too large for the window;
	- holding down both control and shift will create a Bitmap Clipping.
Later on I will add a "Help" option to the menu which will link to a help file with this information.

2.	The "Open File" panel is much more responsive while images are being previewed, especially if you use the keyboard to navigate through files.

3.	ImagePro displays a message as soon as it starts opening an image, so you know something's happening if the image takes a long time to load for some reason.

4.	ImagePro now handles more bitmap types. If you ever had any images that ImagePro could not resize, they will probably work now. But there are LOTS of different image types (see the definition of "color_space" in /boot/develop/headers/be/interface/GraphicsDefs.h to see what I mean). ImagePro handles the ones starting with B_RGBxxx and BCMAP8, BGRAY8 and BGRAY1.
